We are the Ching family and we started Sunset Badminton to promote and supply the sport of competitive badminton in the Phoenix West Valley. Having lived in the West Valley for over a decade, we saw a severe lack of badminton promotion and services in this part of town. As competitive players in Southern California during high school and college, Julie and Brandon wanted to share their passion of competitive badminton with their kids and neighbors! With decades of experience in badminton as players (national competitions, regional tournaments, and Jr Olympic training) and coaches (multiple Valley high school teams), we feel that we are uniquely qualified to provide trusted information and products to our badminton family.

We operate Arizona’s only “Badminton in Arizona” public Discord server where all badminton players can gather and converse. Players of all ages and skill levels are welcome. Channel topics include #beginners, #high-school-players, #equipment (find or sell used equipment!), #partner-search, #coaches (high school coaches can converse and trade tips), and #training (drills and tips). This is also the fastest and easiest way to reach out to us with sales, training, and equipment questions.
