Victor Auraspeed 100X

The Victor Auraspeed 100X is an amazingly fast and accurate racket. Top of the line in the Aruaspeed series, the 100X is designed for fast doubles play or control-oriented singles players. The Dynamic Sword feature in the head is far more subtle than previous generations like the Bravesword or even the Auraspeed 90s. Yet despite this, the swing speed is still there. The anti-torsion shaft keeps the head stable on quick swings and defensive shots while the Free Core handle control vibration and enhances your play experience. The doubles World Champions Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan and Danish badminton star Anders Antonsen use the 100X.

Our Honest Review

When we first got our hands on this racket, we’re not going to lie, we weren’t all that impressed with the look and feel. The colors and patterns were nice but the finish was matte and not glossy like most high-end rackets and that made the graphite feel a little less finished. Don’t get us wrong, it’s certainly not ugly but maybe just lacks some polish. However, once we got it on the court…OMG. The control and accuracy of the 100X is simply amazing. Drives are fast and effortless and serves, flat pushes, and liftouts are wildly precise. Smash defense was phenomenal. Coach Ching did notice that it wasn’t quite as powerful as his Thruster Falcon but in the hands of some other players, they did not notice any lack of power. Coach Ching had to sit and ponder if he should switch his primary racket to the 100X it’s that good!
