Victor VBS-66N

Description

The Victor VBS-66N is a relatively new string in the Victor line. At 0.66mm thick, it is a nice middle ground between the thinner 0.64mm gauge and the thicker 0.70mm gauge that we normally carry. It comes in a good variety of colors too! The inner core of these strings leverages nanotechnology (hence the N) that has gotten some pretty good reviews on the internet for its resilience and string control. Additionally, this string is used by some of the best players in the world like Tai Tzu Ying, Hendra Setiawan, and Lee Zii Jia!

Our Honest Review

Coach Ching has put the 66N on his Thruster Falcon Enhanced and he loves it. The string has a very crisp and solid feel (despite being a “medium feel”) and has a great hitting sound. It has a very nice balance of power and control without either one being too overpowering. Compared to something like the 68TX, is it definitely a “harder” string hence the “crispiness’ mentioned above. If you like a more crisp and high-pitch hitting feel and sound then the 66N is your string. The 68TX is definitely more of a softer feel but the hitting sound is deeper. Both have power and control in abundance.
